Armando J. DiFerdinando is the Managing Partner of Financial Benefit Services, LLC. An insurance industry veteran, Armando is a founding member of FBS and is responsible for its strategic direction and continued growth. While focused on all areas of the business, he keeps a keen trained eye on strategic investments, employee benefits and estate/business planning. Armando holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and a minor in Business from Towson University and has been applying his business acumen to the needs of his clients for more than 22 years. Armando is active in both his business and local communities. He is a member of the Million Dollar Round Table and has received many awards as a Peak Performer with many Insurance Companies. He enjoys coaching baseball and ice hockey. Armando makes his home in Howard County, Maryland.

Pat specializes in Executive Benefits and Retirement Planning. Pat earned his CLU and ChFC certification in 1985 and earned a B.A. in Business Management from Marist College in 1980. Pat lives in Silver Spring with his wife and four children. Pat enjoys golfing and spending time at Lake Anna with his friends and family.

Bill, a 24 year insurance veteran, has been assisting individuals and companies assess and minimize risk. His practice focuses primarily on Group Benefits with a specialty in the Disability and Life Insurance market. Clients range from Construction and Electrical firms to Law firms. Bill earned his CLU designation in 2004 and his BA from Denison University in 1984. He lives in Bethesda, MD with his wife Carolyn and four children and enjoys golfing and beach time with the family.

Heidi O’Brien is a Partner at Financial Benefit Services LLC, an independent insurance brokerage firm. She specializes in employee benefits – consulting, customizing, servicing and advising her clients on the most cost effective and comprehensive plans available in the marketplace today. Heidi spent five years at a reinsurance underwriting firm where she got a first hand look at how health insurance carriers price group medical plans. Prior to that she worked for New England Financial where she was number one in the country for group medical sales. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Georgetown University. Heidi lives in Chevy Chase, MD with her husband and three daughters.

Patrick Dunn is a 2003 graduate of St. John’s College High School, and a 2007 graduate of the Franklin Perdue School of Business at Salisbury University. Patrick joined JPMorgan’s Private Bank in 2007 as an analyst focused on ultra-high net worth asset management. In 2012, Patrick joined Financial Benefit Services LLC where he focuses on developing and maintaining client relationships. Patrick lives in Silver Spring, MD and is a 2015 MBA candidate of the Carey Business School at Johns Hopkins University. Outside of the office and classroom, Pat enjoys being active in a variety of sports like golf, basketball and wake boarding.

When she first started with the company, Ann Marie provided administrative support to the partner’s but in the last few years she has transitioned into an account management position. As an account manager she is responsible for group renewals, claims/coverage issues, enrollment meetings and partner support. Ann Marie earned her bachelor’s degree from Towson University. She lives in Olney, MD with her husband Shane and their two children.

Since graduating from Virginia Tech, Stephanie has worked with clients in all aspects of Human Resources, including a recruitment advertising agency were she specialized in hiring and retaining employees through competitive employee benefit programs. As a Senior Account Manager with FBS, Stephanie handles the full life cycle of client relations including, renewals, presentations, enrollment meetings, and customer services issues. Stephanie lives in Falls Church, with her husband, Ted and their two children, Ellie and JT.

Chad Griffith has been with Financial Benefit Services since June 2012.  Since graduating from University of Delaware, Chad has served large employer groups in the benefits arena on both the carrier and broker/consultant side.  As an Account Executive with FBS, Chad handles the full life cycle of client relations including renewals, presentations, enrollment meetings, and customer services issues. Chad also assists FBS, LLC in the new business / sales process.  Chad currently resides in Gaithersburg, MD.

Luke Stolz graduated from James Madison University, with a B.S. in Health Administration. He later served as an Account Manager at a global human resources and related financial services consultancy firm. Now, as a Senior Account Manager with FBS, Luke handles the full life cycle of client relations. He coordinates marketing and renewals for health plans – such as medical, prescription drugs, dental, vision, life, disability; administers presentations and enrollment meetings, advises clients on Health Care Reform legislation; and resolves day-to-day customer services issues. Luke also holds a Life, Health & Annuities license to perform regulated activities, and is Lean Six Sigma certified.

Terri’s career began in professional positions of administrative support. Since 1993 a vast array of support initiatives, within both private and federal climates, has enhanced her palate of accomplishments and qualifications. After just two years of servicing partners and associates of Financial Benefit Services, Terri has now attained her formal designation as a licensed Insurance Agent/Account Manager. This new feat bridges her transformation from support roles into dynamic administration. Terri lives in Maryland.

Kate Landi is a 2008 graduate of the Academy of the Holy Cross, and a 2013 graduate of the University of Maryland, with a B.A. in English Literature. Kate spent a year after graduating building her own business with Amazon.com, and in 2014, she joined Financial Benefit Services, LLC where she assists the partners with their daily needs and helps maintain an organized and high-functioning office. Kate lives in Silver Spring, MD and has focused her attention on learning the business that FBS, LLC conducts, and growing her Amazon.com business in her spare time. Outside of the office, Kate enjoys traveling when she has the opportunity, reading, and spending time with family.
